MARION, Ill. — Saturday brings typical summer weather to Williamson County with no severe threats on the horizon, according to the National Weather Service. Expect partly sunny skies through the afternoon with a high near 92 degrees. Winds remain light, out of the southwest at 1 to 6 mph.
Tonight, patchy fog develops after 4 a.m. under mostly clear skies, with lows around 71 degrees. Morning drivers on Sunday should watch for reduced visibility; fog clears by 8 a.m.
Sunday looks fine—sunny skies with a high near 93 degrees and light southerly winds. The warming trend continues Monday with sunny conditions and highs reaching 95 degrees as south southwest winds pick up slightly to 6 to 12 mph. Nothing here to worry about. Heat and humidity familiar to August in southern Illinois.
