MARION, Ill. — Tonight stays clear and calm. The National Weather Service calls for a low around 68 degrees, with west winds barely moving at 1 mile per hour. Nothing to watch tonight.
Saturday brings a small chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 a.m.—about 30 percent, according to the National Weather Service—then it clears to sunny skies. The high will reach near 87 degrees, cooling to around 85 by afternoon, with west northwest winds from 2 to 12 miles per hour. That early-morning shower chance is the only weather event on the horizon. After that clears, we're quiet.
Sunday stays sunny and mild, with a high near 85 degrees. Patchy fog may linger before 8 a.m., but nothing worrisome. Northwest winds stay light, 0 to 7 miles per hour.
Monday follows the same pattern—mostly sunny, with a high near 84 degrees. A light southeast wind under 5 miles per hour.
No severe weather threatens Williamson County through early next week. Keep an eye on that early-morning chance Saturday, but otherwise, we're settled into quiet weather for now.
