MARION, Ill. — The National Weather Service calls for a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 5 a.m. this morning, with a low around 69 overnight. Nothing organized or strong is moving in. By Monday, the same 20 percent chance holds between 1 and 2 p.m.—a passing possibility, not a threat.
High Monday near 84 under mostly cloudy skies. After that, the picture clears and quiets. Tuesday brings partly sunny skies, a high of 78, and north northeast winds picking up to 6 to 12 miles per hour. Overnight lows trend downward—62 to 64 Monday night, then 58 by Tuesday night.
Wednesday finishes the stretch mostly sunny and mild, high 77, with north winds steady at 6 to 12 miles per hour.
Nothing severe on the horizon. Just typical late September—a little moisture early in the week, then clearing to pleasant autumn days. The National Weather Service shows no red flags for Williamson County.
