Thursday brings a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms between 7 and 11 a.m., but mostly sunny skies will dominate. Highs near 97 feel much hotter—heat index values reaching 109. Thursday night stays warm with lows around 77 and heat indices climbing to 106 by Friday morning.
Friday climbs further. Sunny, high near 99, heat index as high as 110. Saturday continues the pattern: sunny, high near 100.
Heat index readings of 109–110 represent dangerous conditions for Williamson County. Take heat seriously this week: limit outdoor work during peak hours, stay hydrated, seek shade regularly. The 20% rain chance Thursday morning offers little relief. The heat is the story.
