MARION, Ill. — Thursday stays pleasant. Patchy fog clears before 7 a.m., then the day turns sunny with a high near 88 degrees and light northeast winds. It's a good day if you need one.
Friday brings a shift. The National Weather Service expects a 30 percent chance of showers Friday morning between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., but the main system arrives Friday night. Showers and thunderstorms become probable—90 percent chance—with lows around 70.
Saturday continues wet. Showers and thunderstorms are likely throughout the day with a high near 83. Winds strengthen from the west at 7 to 12 mph with gusts to 20 mph. The chance of precipitation holds at 90 percent.
Thursday is your best day if you have outdoor plans. Expect wet conditions Friday night through Saturday.
