Tonight stays mostly clear, low around 68 degrees, winds light from the south southeast. Sunday brings full sunshine with a high near 94 degrees—warm, but not yet the spike that's coming. Light south winds, 2 to 10 mph.
Monday is where the thermometer makes its move. Sunny again, high near 97 degrees. Tuesday pushes higher still—sunny, 98 degrees—with only gentle south southwest winds, 3 to 7 mph. Overnight lows stay mild in the low 70s.
The pattern is stable and dry. No storms in sight. For those working outdoors or spending hours in the heat, this is the time to drink water and find shade when you can. Heat stress is real in a county that knows the weather. Keep an eye on elderly neighbors and the young.
