Nick Reiner, the son of Hollywood director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Reiner, has been indicted on murder charges in connection with his parents' deaths, according to Los Angeles County officials cited by NBC News.
The Reiners were found stabbed inside their family home in Brentwood in December. Nick Reiner has pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder. The indictment includes special circumstance allegations of multiple murders and murder by means of lying in wait — legal language that, if proven, can carry the harshest penalties under California law.
Rob Reiner, 78, built a career spanning acting, directing and producing, known to audiences for films including This Is Spinal Tap, Stand By Me and When Harry Met Sally....
