A familiar name is back at the wildlife refuge

CRAB ORCHARD NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE - Rick Speer is back at Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge, the Southern Illinoisan reports.

The refuge is one of the county's constants, a stretch of lake and timber that draws people back. Speer's return is a small notice, but on a beat where the names keep changing at the county board and the courthouse, a familiar one showing back up at the refuge is worth a line.
