ENERGY, Ill. — Dave Turner, 77, was killed Tuesday night when his home exploded, according to family members who were at the property the following day and spoke with the Southern Illinoisan.
Neighbors described the blast and remembered Turner to WPSD Local 6 in the hours after. KFVS12 reported the investigation into the cause continues. Video circulating afterward, cited by outlets including the Hindustan Times, showed the moment the house came apart — fire and debris where a home had stood.
No cause has been confirmed.
