HERRIN, Ill. — Herrin High School has a new man running its baseball program: Mulholland has taken the reins as head coach, the Southern Illinoisan reports.
A coaching change is always a reset button — new drills, new lineup philosophies, new expectations for a program that carries the Tiger name in a town that takes its baseball seriously. Herrin fans will be watching how quickly the new staff puts its stamp on the roster heading into the season.
The Southern Illinoisan's report did not detail Mulholland's coaching background or previous stops.
