NASHVILLE, Ill. — The Carterville Lions came calling on the Nashville Hornets Friday night and left no doubt about who owned the field, riding a balanced offensive attack to a 45-14 nonconference victory, according to the Southern Illinoisan.
According to the paper's report, Johnson and Miller were the names doing the damage for Carterville, carrying the Lions past a Nashville squad that simply had no answer for the visitors from Williamson County.
