Carterville campus opens its doors to employers and job seekers next March

CARTERVILLE - John A. Logan College will host its 2026 job fair March 24, WSIL-TV reports.
A job fair is a small event on its face: tables, handshakes, résumés passed across folding chairs. But in a county that has buried more industries than it's welcomed, an event built to connect employers directly with local job seekers carries more weight than the calendar listing suggests. Mark the date - it's still eight months out, but this is a county that plans around the mine gate closing, so planning around the job fair opening is nothing new.
