MARION, Ill. — Drivers who lean on Illinois 37 to get around Williamson County need a Plan B this weekend. The Illinois Department of Transportation says the highway will close beginning Sept. 18 for work in the county, according to a notice from IDOT.
The agency's notice did not detail the exact segment closing or a reopening timeline. IDOT is asking motorists to plan alternate routes for the duration.
