HERRIN, Ill. — The city is putting out the call for a little civic color. Herrin has invited business owners to "paint Herrin red, white & blue," according to KFVS12.
No word yet on exactly which occasion is driving the request or what the deadline looks like for storefronts to get decorated, but the invitation itself says something about a town that likes to show up for itself. Business owners interested in taking part should watch for further details from the city.
