Glaciers End Hosts Pickle Fest 2 in Marion Saturday
Small-batch craft food maker throws its second annual brine-and-vinegar bash
By Verna Slate, Williamson County Bureau
MARION, Ill. — Glaciers End, the small-batch craft food and beverage business known around here for its locally grown and made syrups, hot sauces, shrub drinking vinegars and pickled goods, will host its second annual Pickle Fest Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to the Southern Illinoisan.
This is the kind of Marion event that doesn't need a press release to draw a crowd — the county has always turned out for its makers, whether they're canning coal-camp recipes or bottling something new. Pickle Fest 2 keeps that tradition running, one jar at a time.
Details on the exact address and additional vendors were not specified in initial reporting.
