Fever Hit 100 Again as Clark, Mitchell Turn Indiana Into a Track Meet

Caitlin Clark's 32 points help power a fourth straight 100-point night, an Indiana team keeps proving nobody wants to run with them

Fifty years from now somebody will ask when the Indiana Fever turned into the fastest show in the WNBA, and the answer will be this July.

Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell combined for 60 points Tuesday night as the Fever beat the Seattle Storm 105-95, according to ESPN. That's four straight games Indiana has cracked the century mark — a league record, and not the kind of number teams put up by accident.

Clark finished with 32 of those points. Mitchell added the rest of that 60-point tandem. The final score tells you the Storm hung around — 95 points is nothing to be ashamed of — but hanging around isn't winning, and Seattle walked out of this one on the wrong end for the same reason a lot of teams have lately: they couldn't keep pace.

A fourth consecutive 100-point game is the kind of streak that gets noticed around a league, and it says something about where this Fever team is right now — fast, confident, and playing like they expect to win the score column even on nights the final margin is closer than the pace suggests.
