WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. — Several criminal matters moved through the county this stretch, according to reports from KFVS12 and WPSD Local 6.
A man was arrested on allegations of infant abuse in Williamson County, WPSD Local 6 reports, though the outlet's coverage did not identify the suspect or the circumstances of the arrest. In Herrin, a man was charged with aggravated battery of a child, KFVS12 reports, also without further detail on the case released. A man was sentenced in connection with a 2015 shooting at a Herrin building, according to KFVS12's separate report.
