CARTERVILLE, Ill. — A body has been recovered from Crab Orchard Lake, according to thesouthern.com.
Crab Orchard Lake, part of the national wildlife refuge that draws boaters and anglers from across southern Illinois, is no stranger to the occasional grim turn beneath its calm surface.
