At least two people were killed and several others wounded when gunfire erupted at a Latin street festival in Toronto on Saturday evening, according to police and multiple news outlets.
Toronto police said they responded at 8:12 p.m. to reports of an active shooter at St. Clair Avenue and West Arlington Avenue, the site of the TD Salsa on St. Clair Festival, the Washington Examiner reported.
Accounts of the number of wounded varied. The Washington Examiner reported three additional people were injured, while Fox News put the number of wounded at four. Both outlets confirmed at least two deaths.
